1. Designer Statement
This is our version of the artist statement and can simply be a description of the type of design work you'd like to do and/or the professional position you'd like to attain. Think of it as the info you'd include in a letter of application to a design position.
2. Description of BFA final project
> Reprint your objective statement from the show (with name)
3. Copy of your resume
4. Program Assessment Sheet
Your review of the school/program.
I'll leave the yellow paperwork in a folder in your studio.
5. Two Portfolio CDs / archive of your work
In order to be cleared to graduate you are required to submit visual documentation of your senior project/portfolio. Include at minimum your senior project on a CD or DVD. Turn in (2) identical copies.
Note that anything 3-D, bound, on special paper or constructed in anyway has to be photographed (well), as obviously not all pieces can not be documented simply with digital files.
Follow these guidelines:
• only pdfs, jpgs or tiffs [no eps files]
• for pdfs:
• files can be 100% size and no smaller than 6" wide
• color mode: RGB is fine
• files names must somehow reflect name of course in which project was completed and assignment.
• submit work to on CD or DVD labeled properly with your name and fall 2008.
**No fancy case or sleeve necessary.**
I need all this by Tuesday, Dec. 16 at noon.
(one of our scheduled final exam mtg. times.)
